Version 1.0. BeautyBye applies conservative launch rules for professional beauty goods.
Opened or swatched cosmetics may be listed only when the seller accurately discloses their condition and any use, and the item remains lawful and safe. Existing prohibited-product rules still apply: unsafe, contaminated, prescription, injectable, recalled or otherwise prohibited products remain blocked regardless of the condition selected. Automated and policy controls may route questionable listings to review, and BeautyBye may remove any listing presenting a genuine safety or compliance concern. Sealed, unused and in-date cosmetics may be listed when all original safety and traceability information is visible. New or demonstrably safe professional tools, furniture and electrical beauty equipment may be listed with accurate model, voltage, plug, condition, defect and instruction information. Disposable products must be sealed and within date. A category appearing in the app is not permission to list an item that fails this policy or law.
Check the official UK Product Recalls and Alerts service before listing and again before dispatch. Photograph seals, labels, batch or serial details and safety markings. State storage history and every known defect. Use suitable packaging and a carrier service that accepts the contents. Preserve supplier and purchase records. Notify BeautyBye immediately if you discover a safety, authenticity or recall concern and cooperate with stop-sale, buyer contact, return, destruction, regulator or recall steps.
BeautyBye may request evidence, suppress a listing, stop an order, warn affected users, hold payout, preserve records, notify a rights holder, carrier or authority, or restrict an account. Do not return or post a product if doing so would create a safety or dangerous-goods risk; follow the instructions provided for the case.
Report a product through the listing or order controls, or email customerservice@beautybye.co.uk with the listing ID, photographs and risk details. For immediate danger contact emergency services or the relevant authority. This policy does not transfer the seller's legal product-safety duties to BeautyBye.
