Why we verify
Verification supports professional trust, safer inventory movement, payment and fraud controls, and compliance. Account approval provides buyer access. Selling is optional and requires a separate approved, active seller profile plus payout readiness.
Evidence and review
We may request identity and contact details, profession, business or employment information, qualification, licence, insurance, certificate or other evidence relevant to the stated activity. Upload only genuine, current documents you are authorised to provide. Evidence is reviewed privately by authorised staff and is not displayed as a public certificate. We may request clearer or additional information.
Decisions
We may approve, deny or keep a submission pending; limit account features while checks continue; and require reverification after material account changes, expiry, inconsistent information or a risk signal. Approval confirms only that our eligibility process was satisfied at that time. It is not an endorsement of every listing, qualification, product or service.
Misrepresentation and appeal
False, altered, borrowed or misleading evidence may result in denial, account restriction, preserved audit evidence or referral where required. To challenge a decision, email customerservice@beautybye.co.uk with the account email and relevant explanation. Do not send sensitive documents by ordinary email unless support specifically provides a secure route.
Privacy
Verification data is used for eligibility, safety, fraud and legal purposes under the Privacy Notice. Access is limited and evidence is retained only according to the applicable purpose, legal need and approved retention schedule.
